Art

Here's some latte art from my shift today. The crema's not so dark due to the dilution happening in a 16 oz drink. It's not nearly my best either, but it's representative of recent work.

Nice art Peter. It seems to be much more developed than when I last saw it; the picture(s) is a great addition to the blog.

I tried out a Belgian Beer last night that I think you may find a little "adventurous", as the bartender put it. It was Lindeman's Frambois Lambic. Very tarte, dark, and tasted like wild cherry. It was quite dissimilar to any other beer I have ever tasted. Check it out. I had the opportunity of experiencing it in combination with Gypsy Jazz music (a form of Jazz consisting predominately of string instuments. Developed in Paris). Anyway, talk to you soon, and I'll try to keep my posts more regular and frequent.

it's about time dude! hooray for digital cameras!!! Looking good, i like the swirls. Kepp it up. Discussed the subjective nature of taste with my uncle the other day and he has started drinking coffee over the last year or so and he understands how people that are geeks in a certain genre may know they are getting the best out of the bean but did close with the fact that if someone would not make it the way he preferred (spelling police here...) it, even if it was selling the bean short but suited his taste, he would not be happy. As his taste could be different to the barista's and also he may be experiencing more of the negatives present in the cup...food or drink for thought.

i think sometimes people get too caught up in 'knowing' what is best, when at the end of the day who needs undue headaches?

Why is rod not penetrating your blog??? I HATE ROD! ha ha ha
